El australiano Gerrans gana la tercera etapa y es el nuevo líder

Gerrans fue el más rápido de un grupo de diez corredores que seadelantaron al pelotón y superó en el esprint a sus compatriotasRohan Dennis (BMC Racing) y Michael Woods (Cannondale).

Entre los ciclistas que se jugaron la victoria estaba también elanterior líder, el australiano Jay McCarthy (Tinkoff), los españolesRafael Valls (Lotto Soudal) y Rubén Fernández (Movistar) y elcolombiano Sergio Henao (Team Sky).

Gerrans logró su primera victoria desde que se impuso en 2014 enel GP de Montreal y el español Luis León Sánchez (Astana) encabezóel gran grupo a trece segundos.
